Join us for a One of a Kind Retreat in Partnership with our friend Philip Rubin of ”The Winefeed”- Durham,NC
This Wine & Wellness Tour will take us to The beautiful Loire Valley In France!
After the tremendous success of our first Wine & Wellness tours in the Douro Valley this summer, we are thrilled to announce our 2nd destination of France! The adventure begins June 7-13th 2026! The Loire Valley wine region stretches over 600 miles, and is home to some of France's most beautiful Domaines and prized wine styles.
We will be fortunate enough to stay in the beautiful castle we've selected in the past; situated on over 600 private acres overlooking a natural, spring-fed lake. Every detail of this renovated castle was handled with the utmost care by owner, Marc, -- with large bedrooms, picturesque views, and an on-site pool area with covered gazebo, this is the perfect place to relax and release all of your worries.
While the specific timeline will be finalized a bit closer to trip departure, here is a quick summary of the week:
Starting in Tours on Sunday, we will drive about 50 minutes west to our accommodation for the week.
From Monday, each day will begin with yoga practices and wellness activities run by Savana Harwood: owner of Ocracoke Island Yoga. She holds multiple certifications, and is excited to help every guest become a better version of themselves during our time together. Practices are all included, but will be optional if guests would prefer to rest.
We will target at least one excellent wine producer per day, visiting many different sub-regions and towns along the river. The Wine Feed specializes in bringing our tour guests to "insider" wineries that are often missed on the main tourist routes. You'll learn about production, taste fantastic wines at the source, and meet the wonderful people who make them.
All breakfasts are included at our home, and most lunches and dinners. You will have one lunch and one dinner on your own. We will give you plenty of notice when and where those meals will be so you can plan ahead or make reservations if preferred.
Our tour concludes on Saturday morning when we will return to Tours. Please note we have significant travel experience in France--so if you would like recommendations for extending your time, we are happy to help.
If you have any questions, please send to contact@thewinefeed.com.
We hope you'll join us!

Restorative yoga is a relaxing and supported practice that is all about slowing down to restore your body’s natural capacity for health. If you take a restorative class, you may hardly move at all, doing just a few postures in the course of an hour or so. It is a completely different experience than the majority of yoga (yang based) classes offered. It is suitable for practitioners of all levels.
The goals of restorative yoga are physiological rather than physical. Our aim in Restorative Yoga is to affect the nervous system and to relax the body. Although, by affecting the physiological, physical changes will naturally follow suit, we are not targeting the tissues of the body; we are targeting the nerves. We aim to support the body in different positions to relax, encouraging parasympathetic tone, rather than to stretch or strengthen muscles. It is a receptive practice geared toward reprogramming the nervous system rather than an active (catabolic) practice.
This practice ends with a blissful sound bath using instuments such as crystal singing bowls, Seven Layer Tibetan Bowls, Koshi Chimes , Gong and Ocean Drum.
*** All Class purchases are non refundable.
This Class is an amazing routine created by Brian Kest. It is a set series of poses to release low back and hips. Poses are held longer than a traditional vinyasa class , very similar to a Yin style class.
LSD Refers to the Long holds, Slow Pace and Deep Release! This practice is all floor based poses designed to help you release the extra tension that we tend to carry day to day. Decompress, let go and feel better! This class is beginner friendly , no experience necessary.
*** All Class purchases are non refundable/non-transferable.
This class begins with dynamic vinyasa flow and then finishes with blissful yin yoga for AMAZING results! Yin yoga is a slow-paced meditative style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time ranging from 2-5 minutes. Yin yoga was developed to penetrate deep into the connective tissue by applying moderate stress to the tendons, fascia, and ligaments. Vinyasa flow yoga is considered Yang yoga and focuses more on Sun Salutations and dynamic strengthening poses or sequences to work on the yang tissues-the muscles, blood, and skin. When combined you will leave feeling truly balanced with an energizing and uplifting first half of class (Yang) followed by a quiet and deeply introspective second half of class (Yin).
*** All Class purchases are non refundable.
Power Yoga is an energetic vinyasa style class that is designed specifically to improve muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. All Levels Slow Flow Yoga with many modifications & options to suit what feels best in your body today! This practice is great for the folks that love to move through the vinyasa poses but take their time along the way.
Class ends with a guided meditation in the Shavasana with many props to keep the body supported and comfortable. Leave this practice feeling grounded and peaceful.
** All classes are nonrefundable**

Join us for a one of a kind Sound Bath Meditation & Reiki Experience!
We start this class by building a comfy ”nest” using blankets , bolsters and other yoga props. Once we settle into our restorative position we dive into simple meditation practice to ground us, allowing us to arrive in a special place for self care.
The vibration from instruments such as singing bowls, chimes , gong and ocean drum washes over you &guide you deeper into ✨awareness✨ of mind, body & soul.
While lying comfortably in meditation/ listening to the soothing sounds of the instruments Hands on Reiki Healing is also given to those that wish to receive it by a certified Reiki practitioner.
Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support relaxation.
Mikao Usui developed reiki in the early 1900s, deriving the term from the Japanese words rei, meaning “universal,” and ki, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things.
Reiki aids in healing by helping people become energetically balanced — physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Wear comfortable clothes. Feel free to bring pillows and blankets of your own.
**Classes are nonrefudable/ nontransferable.
*Reiki is not mandatory and you may opt out.

This dynamic, energizing and challenging style of yoga links breath and movement through a basic Power Yoga framework combining sun salutations, standing postures and floor work but each teacher brings their own creative touch. The smooth, continuous flow deepens the breath, develops core strength, increases endurance and challenges balance and flexibility.Sometimes there is more of a flow to class and sometimes you will hold poses or asanas to really open that part of the body up. The last part of class consists of floor postures to continue to stretch and open your legs, hips and back. Classes will always end with Savasana or a final resting pose for the last few minutes of class to allow you to relax and quiet your mind.
You will leave class Feeling Empowered and ready to take on what ever comes your way !
